Our lifting cylinders are powered by mineral oil and are important components when working with hydraulics. In them, the energy from the hydraulic fluid supplied by a hydraulic pressure accumulator or a hydraulic pump is converted into an easily controllable force acting in a straight line. The LUKAS special cylinders are flat, compact and have a lot of power. Bridge bearings can be replaced, or machines lifted with their help. They can be used wherever there is little space. Do you have to move heavy loads? The support period is particularly long and the movement area very small? No problem, with the LUKAS special cylinders you will always find the right solution.

POWER PUMPS FOR THE RIGHT PRESSURE

LUKAS motor and hand pumps are light, easy to use and suitable for the operation of most cylinders in our range. The flexible two-stage pumps switch automatically between low pressure (LP) and high pressure (HP) during the lifting process, so that cylinders extend quickly without load and work powerfully and precisely under load. Precision and sensitive control of the cylinders ensures a continuous volume flow. The oil pressure for extending the cylinders is generated repeatedly and kept constant.

We have developed our high-pressure programme for your special applications. in which pressure ranges of up to 2,500 bar are no problem. Especially if you are only dependent on high pressure for a project or temporarily and do not need a permanent solution in this area, our products are exactly the right choice for you.

We are pioneers in the development of light metal cylinders. They are made of aluminium and are therefore not only particularly light, but also extremely corrosion resistant. LUKAS cylinders move reliably, have a long service life with low material fatigue. In our 500-bar portfolio, we work with a special plug-in coupling system with an integrated hose rupture protection. The uncomplicated coupling when using the cylinders facilitates the implementation of your project. This enables you to react to any situation at short notice. Also, in our 700 Bar programme, we have dispensed with elaborate screw caps and instead continue to develop our screw coupling system, which can be individually supplemented with the hose rupture protection function.

The LUKAS hydraulic power pack PO6 is our powerful motor pump for all cylinders in different versions.

PO 6 1E for a single-acting cylinder: Precise control of the speed when lifting or lowering is achieved by throttling at the drain valve. Load-holding function when the drain valve is closed, and the engine is switched off.
PO 6 2E for two single-acting cylinders: Precise control of the speed when lifting or lowering is achieved by throttles on the control valves. Separate shut-off of the two oil flows possible. Load-holding function with the engine running or switched off when control valves are closed.
PO 6 1D for a single-acting or double-acting cylinder: Lifting and lowering of the load by means of a switching valve. Load-holding function in the center position of the switching valve. Retracting a double-acting cylinder must only be done with the engine running.

Operate cylinders with a motor pump to generate even more power. By later switching from low pressure to high pressure at 16 MPa (160 bar), you can achieve higher working speeds in the lower load range than with conventional motor pumps.
