CHAIN DAMAGE

CHAIN DAMAGE

Cross ramming is sometime referred to as ‘reforming’; a process of using hydraulic rams to push the vehicle structure back to somewhere near its original shape to create space and/or free an entrapment e.g. following a substantial side impact. Without the ability to train vehicles that have suffered such damage, again we cannot refine our skills. In this video we demonstrated a simple method of deforming a roof to allow cross ramming (or reforming) practice. Vehicle Extrication - THE NEXT GENERATION provides a full description, data sheet and FULL LENGTH HD video link to this and many other popular processes and techniques.
