The term ‘Human Factors’ is a very broad term which applies to the study of how humans interact with the world around them and is usually applied to the workplace in order to improve individual and team performance.

Once it has been decided that vehicle relocation is not necessary (or after vehicle relocation has been completed) vehicles involved in the incident should be stabilized in line with the nominated extrication plan. ‘In line’ means that steps taken to achieve stability should not impede progress later on in the incident.
